Here at “Beth’s Imagination Station,” we are a Home-Away-from-Home child care that bases our care on love and the love of learning. We opened in 1997, as a small in home child care and we have been in our current location since 2007. We are Independently owned and operated. Beth’s Imagination Station is a smaller, more intimate setting where we meet all of the children’s and families individual needs. At the Imagination Station, we truly believe that open communication is one of the most important keys to a child’s growth and happiness.
The staff at “Beth’s Imagination Station,” all have backgrounds in the child care field. Almost all of our teachers have degrees in Early Child Hood Development or Elementary Education. Our curriculum is based on Rochester Community Schools and takes a Thematic Based Approach. Each month parents are given newsletters with the themes and objectives to follow along at home. Our Infants take part in Baby Yoga, Sign Language, Art, Reading, Song, and Much More. Young Toddlers and up learn each day through teacher prepared lesson plans. Lesson Plans are provided for our families each week. Our classrooms include: Infants (six weeks- one year), Young Toddlers (one year-approximately 20 months), Older Toddlers (20 months-Approximately 33 months), Preschool (3 year olds), and PreKindergarten (4 and 5 year olds). We also provide school age care for Before and After Care, Summer Camp, School Breaks, and Snow Days.
